1. Cancellation Window & Charges
> 24 Hours Before Pickup: 100% full refund of rental amount and security deposit.
6 to 24 Hours Before Pickup: 80% refund of rental amount; 100% security deposit refunded.
< 6 Hours Before Pickup: 50% refund of rental amount; 100% security deposit refunded.
After Scheduled Pickup Time (No-Show): No rental refund; 100% security deposit refunded.
2. Mode of Refund
Refunds can be received instantly in your Orbit Wallet (recommended for future checkouts) or credited back to the original payment source (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, or Net Banking) within 3 to 5 business days depending on your bank.
3. Early Return Policy
If you return the EV earlier than your reserved return time, unused rental hours are non-refundable as the vehicle was reserved exclusively for your scheduled block. Security deposits will be settled immediately.
4. Cancellation by Orbit Rentals
In rare situations where a reserved EV becomes unavailable due to unexpected mechanical or charging defects, Orbit Rentals will provide a free upgrade to a higher vehicle category or offer an unconditional 100% full refund plus ₹250 wallet credit.
