Security Deposit Policy

1. Purpose of Security Deposit
The refundable security deposit acts as caution money covering potential excess kilometres, unextended rental hours, unpaid toll/traffic challans, missing accessories (helmet, charging cable), or minor cosmetic vehicle damage.
2. Standard Deposit Amounts
- Electric Scooters & Mopeds: ₹1,500 – ₹2,500
- Electric Motorcycles (Sports): ₹3,500 – ₹5,000
- Electric Cars & SUVs: ₹5,000 – ₹8,000
- Commercial Cargo EVs: ₹3,000
3. Inspection & Settlement Timeline
Upon vehicle return at the hub, the fleet executive conducts an automated 5-minute digital inspection checking odometer, battery, and body panels. If the vehicle returns in good condition, full refund release is authorized immediately.
4. Refund Delivery Methods
Orbit Wallet: Instant (0 minutes) – immediately available for next rental booking.
Bank / UPI / Card: Processed via banking partner within 24 to 48 hours.
5. Transparent Deductions Statement
In the event of any deduction, a transparent itemized statement detailing the exact reasons, photos, and OEM part bill is displayed inside your Customer Web Panel and Mobile App under Security Deposits.
